Which is more of a pollutant, gray water, or non-picked up doggie ****? :B
How is dog waste any different from bird waste, squirrel waste, coyote waste, fox waste, bear waste, etc etc? Its not a "pollutant". Depending upon the gray water, it could be a pollutant.
I don't dump my gray water on the ground... per se.
We wash our 2.5 year old daughter and 7 month old son in the outside shower in a bucket. We dump that water on the ground when they are done. Is that violating an unwritten rule?
All the goofballs that are complaining about deodorant, sun screen, perfume, etc... do you fully shower before you go swim in the ocean? How about in the lake or the river? All those chemicals that you complain about are getting rinsed off your body into local water somewhere... where is all the fuss about that?
When I was in the scouts, we tent camped... dry. You dug a hole and went to the bathroom in the hole. You brought water and washed dishes (with food waste on it... GASP!!!) and dumped the water away from your campsite (don't want to attract large and hungry wildlife). This is deemed acceptable... I guess I don't understand the bitter anger towards dumping gray tank water. Yea, it can attract wildlife and bugs... but so can little kiddie pools and food left out on picnic tables.
I think some people in this thread might want to move up to the next size underwear... your current pair are getting a bit too tight if these are the things we feel the need to scream and yell about...
