My favorite Obliviates are the ones who drive gassers, but park blocking the only diesel pump, then go inside to take a dump, get breakfast or lunch, chat up the clerk, get an ice cream, eat it, need another dump, and basically take all day about each step of the process.
This is the -exact- reason why I'm buying a gasser F-350 instead of a diesel, even though it has half the torque.
Here in Austin, because diesel pumps are located on the outer edges, they are almost always blocked in by the little subcompacts with people going into the store for lunch... and waiting for them is impossible due to no space to wait. Linger around more than 30-45 seconds and the honking begins. At least with a gasser, the pumps on the inside stalls tend to be available.
As for dump stations, I usually just get a FHU site on the day I'm coming back from a boondocking trip. The last time camping, I was setting up at the FHU site, in view of the dump station, saw rig pull up to dump. Didn't give it a thought until I finished hooking up hoses, dumping, cleaning tanks, pulled the chairs out, then got a couple loads of laundry done and when walking back... yep, same rig was still there, 2-3 hours later.
