Exactly, you need to try hosting.
I could not figure this out either until I woke the couple up and the Gent began to quote the rules verbatim. "Generators that disturb others are prohibited", exact wording, and in his opinion, his was not disturbing anyone, except the guy beside him in a tent who woke me up.
