Yes GM, fudgies in Michigan. They got the name because people would travel north on vacation and buy Murdoch's fudge.
Some of them move north and want the door closed after them. I have talked to many people up there who complain about the traffic and the down staters. When I ask them where they are from they would say sterling whites or Royal oak, Ann arbor etc. Gee they were down staters too at one time.
They want the farmers to stop farming and clean up their properties, they want the dams removed from the rivers, they want sewage treated in the traverse city plant, want everything relandscaped, they want to tell you how small and what style or color your house can be. Locals are driven out by high taxes. Golf courses with high fertilizer and water use are ok though. Fudgies, Greenie's and tree huggers.
