Yep. More times than I care to remember. Easy enough job for a an experienced plumber or drain guy. It could eiter be Straight forward or it could turn into a nightmare. Is the sewer cast, clay, ABS, PVC, oh god, orangeberg? Do you know how to use chain snaps? Probably not. Are you up to digging a 1-3 ft or more deep hole/trench? Probably not.

Not trying to deter you, it just depends. It's not something you want to do incorrectly. The couple examples given here dont sound like they are to code. Just make sure its done right and inspected. Then theres no issues later.

I had one at my old house, it was useless because I did not own a camper at the time. The original homeowner had a pad for a trailer with water and sewer plumbed into the 6" sewer pipe that headed out to the main in the alley. It was a professional job and according to the son of the owner it was well used and awesome.

They could park the camper hook up to power from the garage and water/sewer by the garden and stay outside all summer not pestering his wife.

this is something to think about and deserves to be quoted.
if you put this into an on-lot septic system, be sure to put it into the system BEFORE the holding tank. This tank separates the solids out of the stream that goes into the septic field.

and if you have pump type system be sure you don't open up the high pressure side, it could surprise you when the pump comes on :S

X2 Probably the cheapest way. We only had to dig about 2'. I left mine about 2" above grade and put a PVC cap on it.

I put a tap on the pvc pipe in the basement below the kitchen sink upstairs. It is a 2 inch pipe. I ran it out to the pad where I park the camper. I glued up a conversion 3 inch pipe to 2 inch pipe which attaches to the 2 inch pipe that comes out of the house. Now to dump I set up a piece of vinyl gutter with a couple supports under it & lay the flexible sewer hose in it. One end attaches to the TC sewer & the other to the sewer pipe I fashioned that goes into the house. So essentially I am dumping into a 2 inch pipe. I had been using a macerator but it was taking so long & was a pain to set up & clean up after, I came up with the above alternative.

I find only two in my area (Spokane) and none of them are at WA rest areas. Looks like the closest one to me is Cabelas in Post Falls ($5).
Might be the best alternative.

Some folks use their campers as a guest bedroom.
