I am the wife and we made sure that I could tow the trailer. I can tow it and completely set it up and take it down. I don't usually tow it on our trips but everyone once in a while I will. I didn't want to be some where and in the event of any emergency not be able to get home. I am not as good at backing it but hey I could get it ome and in the driveway.
I think it is important to know how to hook it up and tow it home just in case.
