I look over and she's stomping the hell out of the passenger side floor like the pedal she clearly wished she had has lost all brake fluid.
I had to laugh at this...my DH says this is so me! I keep quiet and use my imaginary break when needed. Lol.
I have driven with tow before (more than once) but am honestly not comfortable doing so on a regular basis (something about the size and length intimidates me behind the wheel) and he doesn't mind driving. We pretty much call it even because he drives anytime we vacation or pull tow (we pull some kind of trailer often) and anywhere else we go I drive and we take my SUV (going to see my son later today...5hr trip one way and I will be doing all the driving) The only thing I haven't done is back with tow. I figure if something happens to him while we are on the road, I will be headed "forward" home. I know how and help with all setup/breakdown (including hook and unhook) and do well with wide right turns and changing lanes. I got this if needed but pray before every trip that it s NOT needed. I can just imagine how white my knuckles would be if I had to drive 18 hrs home pulling tow but I would do it if I had to. I just don't seem to be able to relax and to him it comes 2nd nature. He was a farm boy growing up and was pulling trailers around the farm since before he was even old enough to drive or see well over the steering wheel.
