My wife will not drive the coach and never would drive the truck and FW. There is no need forcing her to do something she is afraid of because that is asking for disaster.
I have taken a different tack. We tow a Ford Edge and I have insisted that she know how to unhook and hook-up all by herself. We tow 100% of the time therefore by knowing how to make the toad usable she can maintain mobility. Let's face it a true emergency will most likely involve first responders and ambulances.
She feels very comfortable with the toad process and at least know's she could get us to help if needed.
