One thing to think about is where you go.. last year, I was camping with my parents in a state park. they in their class c and me in my TT.. well at 2am, my phone rang, and mom was telling me dad needed to go to hospital.. he had fever that wasn't coming down and was only semi-conscious.
disconnected the MH and took off to hospital.. we were approx 60 miles from any hospital and over 20 miles from EMT (if they were at their station). determined we could be halfway to hospital prior to EMT arrival, so off we went. I drove MH and mom sat in rear checking on dad in bed. (yes, I know they weren't in seat belts, but quite frankly, that was least of our concerns). We delivered dad to ER and had nurses/er staff take him directly from bed to gurney.
FYI, I am female and over 50, and managed just fine.. Mom is past 70 and could have managed if I wasn't there.. she drove MH over.. but was thankful I was there so she could keep close watch on dad and keep fighting his fever.. yes, I drive my truck and TT by myself frequently.. prefer assistance backing, but with camera can manage even that on my own... and for Terryallen, I am a southern belle too... of the steel magnolia variety.. do what I have to when I have to.
