Lots of misinformation on the E-Z Lube hubs and their use. They are not the same hubs used on a boat trailer and they are for a different purpose.
Here is a nice video of lubricating an axle properly with the E-Z Lube feature.
E-Z Lube procedure
About every two or 3 years, I pull the hubs and inspect and hand pack the bearings. I prefer the NevR Lube hubs over anything else.
