Oh Please. Let's join the real world here. Using your statement, there would be about 80% less trailers on the road.
Just how far do you think semi trailers travel between inspections? What is recommended? Here I'll help you: Great Dane, a major maker of semi trailers suggests up to 25,000 miles.
Don't trust me look it up in their maintenance manual. It is on page 7. I'm sure that every semi trailer adheres to this schedule and never goes past the 25,000 mile mark.
