E2 Question

Yeah...you need to call Fastway. My tongue weight is about 500# and they suggested that I get the 800# bars since the weight of the hitch and stuff in the bed of the truck needed to be taken into consideration when choosing bar size.

I had to leave a message for them but they called back within 10 minutes and were very helpful.

to installation / instruction manual for E2 hitch. It has a parts list showing seperate part numbers for 6,8,10, and 1200 lb bars. The head itself, only shows one.

If your new trailer has tongue weight right at 600 or slightly over, you may want 800 lbs bars vs 1000 lb.

I believe you can change the bars. But I would give them a call. I had a question when setting mine up and they were very helpful.
