well things are looking to where i just might be able to do the trip of my life time. to do a trip back east and see the beginings of America. but it can not take place for four years yet. this...

ok so most here say sept-october, this is good as i could get this time off
seeing as i am a bit down the pole for getting time off
we "bid" on vacation time in jan and i am number 68 to pick.
i have heard of this fall color thing, living in ca spring is green the rest of the year it is brown. but right now i am great-full the wind is blowing the smoke someplace else.

but yes checking into where i need to be. going to park the rv in one or four camps and ride my moto to see the sights, easer to park a bike than a 3/4 ton truck.
i have thought about a good week in just the DC area. ( camp within 50 of there ),
not sure about the hwy back east but if like here 50-80 miles is nothing.
but then i drive for a living.
and thanks to all for the places to see staying out of the tourest traps is good,
as one can get to see the real history as yes history is fun when one can touch it. reading a book and write a 10 page report is boring.
so far the state of maryland is the only one to send any real nfo ( booklets and maps) about there state.
and DC and a couple states only sent me a small book listing motels and places to eat. sad they do not want to promote toursem. received the kind of cheap book you can find on the rack at the door of dennys.
but i will be working on where to stay and places to see as i only get a very short time to see anything sad i will have to not see some sights but maybe if i can will the lotery?
