Then pour some antifreeze in the sink, lav, and shower traps plus a little on the flapper and toilet. 15 minutes plus a 1/2 gallon of antifreeze and done. No antifreeze taste next year either.
I tried this one year and it worked for the most part. I have 4 valves in the wet bay to select city water, tank fill etc, 2 of the valves leaked in the spring and had to be replaced.
