Don't think so. That is a major violation of state and federal law and would earn the store a huge fine and the owners possibly jail time. Just doesn't happen. And yes, some fuel is "inferior" to other fuel. Any blended fuel with ethanol has less energy content than pure gasoline and you will get lower mileage when using an ethanol blend.
