Amazing that these dealers sell and set up lots of these hitches. But from my experience and others, based on reading these boards, they rarely get them set up properly.
I think the dealers set them all up with the same settings and then throw them on your vehicle.
After people own them a while and wonder why they are having trouble with the feel, they finally realize that the hitch is not set up properly.
Do not rely on the dealer set up.
Follow the instructions that are pinned to the top of this forum. If you find out yours was set up properly, you were fortunate to have had a good dealer or you were just plain lucky.

A couple in their late 50's were having trouble this weekend at our campground and asked if I would help him. 14' TT, late model Lexus SUV pulling it.
Anyhow, he was way heavy in the back. And had only one link on his snap up bracket. Said he couldn't get any more links on. So I told him the trick on jacking up the truck/trailer so he could grab the links easier. He stated he hadn't been told anything when he bought the trailer.
As I was looking things over, the ball didn't have any grease. The bar ends didn't have any grease. The bolts on the hitch were loose. Had practically no weight transferring to the front axle - rear was on the bump stops. Battery wasn't installed. They hadn't shown him how to operate the small slide out. And it goes on and on.
So, I spent about an hour going through things for him, checking it all out, asking a few questions, etc.
He was extremely appreciative, and offered to pay me which I turned down.
I did let him know it was very irresponsible of the dealer to send him down the road with the hitch so improperly setup. He had already driven from Florida to TN that way. I was shocked the hitch was dry as a bone, and it was very obvious they hadn't adjusted anything, nor had they gone over basic hookup procedures and such. Very disappointing.
