What I do to prevent this is at the rare time I hit FHU, when I sanitize my FW tank, I dump part of it into the grey water tank, and the rest in the black. At this time, it is about half full. I then dump a cupful of bleach down the commode, fill it up to full, then let it sit a few hours, then dump/rinse again. Not much time spent, and anything living in that tank is now formerly living, so smells are not an issue for the rest of the year.
