Waking up the e-bike thread.
We just went on our first camping trip of the year with our Lectric bikes. We were in a pretty hilly campground and since we don't have a toy hauler, the bikes are our "golf cart". One thing to keep in mind is the campground speed limit. Especially on the downhills. We had the owner stop in our site at one point. He was looking for two kids on Lectric bikes. One black and one white. Which we just happen to have sitting on our site. But we don't have any kids. We did see the others flying around the campground and other campers rightly complained to the owners.
Our bikes in PAS 1 will run about 6 MPH. That is where we keep them in the campground. One plus to having the bikes over a golf cart is we can head out on the local roads to sight see. We rode 5 miles out to see a covered bridge. With the hills we climbed getting there and back, we would have never made it without the electric assistance.
