Electric Grill

We have the probable Werber gas grill and love it.

We don't have a grill, but we do have a Presto flat electric griddle that we fix almost everything on, even in the coldest weather. We've been using a Presto electric flat griddle for years now. I think we are on our 3rd one in the camper, and we have 2 of them in the house ... I think our 3rd or 4th replacements there too.

We use an old lid from a large electric skillet I found in a yard sale once. The skillet did not work, but I wanted the lid so I could put it on top of the flat griddle to hold heat in. This combination works wonderful in colder weather. Things get nice a krisply, golden brown, look gorgeous.

Zojirushi Grill. We bought it from QVC. Works great.

Easy to clean, the bottom tray we line with foil and use rubber tipped tongs.

I bought a very large baking sheet pan to set it on. You can see it on the picture with the grill. It says Indoor but we use it outdoors.

For us it is a matter of choice. Most of our camping is OFF-ROAD where anything Electric is doomed right away due to the unavailable 120VAC high wattage power source...

Everything for us is based around the use of Low wattage 120VAC from Power inverter, 12VDC and Camp fire and Propane heat...

Our style of camping does usually have a three hour window every morning when we are using our Generator to re-charge our 50% depleted battery bank back up to the 90% charge state. During this time Momabear will use her high wall Electric skillet with lid to make up some of her special things she likes to make up...

Our COLEMAN ROAD TRIP Propane grill with its several interchangable Cast Iron griddles cooking tops does well for us in this area of cooking.

We don't take it campin', but at home we use a Cuisinart Griddler. Puts the grill marks on steaks and hot dogs, and everything.

The OP in his opening post said - "Are there any electric grills out there that are worthwhile?" Seems pretty clear to me he's not asking about gas powered alternatives nor is he asking about griddles regardless of how they're powered nor is he (presumably) concerned about camping off grid. Why not just answer the question and leave it at that? :W
