Electric Grill
Are there any electric grills out there that are worthwhile ? I have heard that none really get hot enough to put those tasty looking grill marks on your steak.

We don't have a grill, but we do have a Presto flat electric griddle that we fix almost everything on, even in the coldest weather. We've been using a Presto electric flat griddle for years now. I think we are on our 3rd one in the camper, and we have 2 of them in the house ... I think our 3rd or 4th replacements there too.
We use an old lid from a large electric skillet I found in a yard sale once. The skillet did not work, but I wanted the lid so I could put it on top of the flat griddle to hold heat in. This combination works wonderful in colder weather. Things get nice a krisply, golden brown, look gorgeous.
