Keep in mind that RVs get their frame ground from the SHORE POWER CONNECTION. You are at the mercy of a properly wired SHORE POWER PEDESTAL or your SHORE POWER CONNECTION cable.
I most always use a KILO-A-WATT meter and a CIRCUIT TESTER at the PEDESTALS before hooking up. Just takes a minute to test.
Must always use all three conductors for the 30AMP system and the four conductors for the 50AMP systems.

Well, leaving for Florida in the morning and finally got electrician over last week to check out this issue and the coach checked out fine. It's the shore power. RoyB got it right. My husband had wired it wrong and the electrician said that a lot of the parks have just thrown their hookups together and are not wired properly either. Which is still a problem, if and when I hook up to a lousy one. All of our plugs and adapters checked out okay too. I sure hope we get good hookups everywhere because my babies (Yorkies) sure do hate it when they go down those stairs and get popped!:E
Thanks again for all of your input and suggestions to try!
