EQ hitch grease - what and where?

Went to the local RV supply shop today to find some, grease for the pivot points noir EQ hitch - they had nothing. Not thrilled with the idea of spending $14 in shipping to have EQ send me a 4oz tube of heir lube.

So, what grease do you all use for your EQ hitches (the pivot points, not the ball or L-brackets)? And, where do you find it?
  • I've used Lucas White lube for several years. I get it at Wal Mart in a 7 oz. squeeze tube. Handy to use and little mess. I wipe off and apply new each time I hook up.
  • Using regular grease doesn't bother me as some people don't like to get dirty. I feel it works better and I can see how much is on there. I use marine grease meant for wheel bearings as it is heavy duty and water resiatant
  • Regular grease, heads of both the bars (in hitch head) and the ball, wipe off when removed.
