Thanks to everyone that responded. The only thing I saw at Camping World was the big roll. Now I have some affordable options.

Around $1000. I have actually wondered about paying $3000 and doing the entire roof of a rig. Of course, it borders on pointlessness to doing this, since using Eternabond is pointless unless one thoroughly presses down on the tape with a roller to activate the microsealent. However, if it could be done (with a bit overlapping a few inches down the sides), and the two seams between the rolls caulked (so dirt doesn't get trapped there), it would do a decent job at prevent roof leaks. One could spend similar money, hit a place like rvroof.com, and have the whole roof coated with an epoxy elastomer.

How much does such a roll cost?

I've seen 48 inch by 50 foot rolls of EB. Three of those rolls overlapping should fix almost any tear in a roof.

I bought a large roll many years ago. First thing I did was run a strip along the roof edge where it rolls over the side just for added protection. Has come in handy as I have had limbs drag and the tape takes it well.

I used it to secure and seal a vent cover that I found in the dumpster without the attachment hardware. Has been up there for about five years. Just taped it to the roof and it works great.

Have used it to secure the antenna wire to the roof.

Have used it to seal the hole for the external cell antenna cable.

Have used it to seal the hole I punched through the sidewall with a screw that was too long... just a little square and you can barely see it.

I put a layer on the roof under the roof pod mounts to keep them from wearing through the roof rubber.

I keep a little in the RV for emergencies as well. Comes in really handy for all sorts of things as it is very sticky!

A lot of Wal-marts sells small rolls of it for a lot less than $85.00.

I'd recommend getting more than you need and storing it in your RV for emergency repairs. I'm going to get a roll of the 6"x2' myself!
