- prsturtzExplorerThank you for the postings. I actually got out the book and went thru the set up step by step. I tried it again today doing that, no help. I have sent a message to Roadmaster and to the R.V. place for their help. I will see what they have to say. I will keep the notes and may change. we live in Wa state. so we go thru mtns where ever we go. Gotta have the extra brake. Thanks everyone. Pat

Roadmaster gave me $100 for the box brake. Sure like the Invisibrake.
I got so irritated with my Even Brake, I replaced it with the new Invisibrake. What a difference! My Even Brake is sitting peacefully on a shelf in my garage waiting for my next garage sale. Good luck with yours.

The only time mine has done that is if I do not follow the how to connect it properly directions. If you are not sure if you hooked everything up in the right order, just disconnect the firewire and the power cable. let the sir out, and start again. - ChevytrkrExplorerI got so irritated with my Even Brake, I replaced it with the new Invisibrake. Rich - charlysmom_dadExplorerWhen that happened to me, it was because I didn't have it all connected. I forgot to connect the cord to the sending unit ( the box in the car that talks to the box in the motorhome). It took me quite awhile to figure it out.
I had connected many times before this, I just overlooked it.
