A campground in PA was flooded - their driveway was impassable x 24 + hrs. Even when driveway was open more than 1/2 CG was under water - including the playground. Plus the "stream" in back was raging floodwater. With more rain forecast for the next day. I had an active toddler and didn't want to stay for safety reasons.
We had reservations for 4 days and I asked for a refund since A) we couldn't even get in for more than 24 hrs and were told to stay at Walmart until they were ready for us and B) playground was under 3ft. of water and C) they were packing in people in any available spot (i.e. my site had 2 units on it!). I did request a refund, but they quoted the "we don't refund for rain" clause.... I insisted on one nights refund before I left b/c I was ready to pull in on Friday - they were the ones whose driveway was unpassable.
