This subject comes up over and over and over. What happens is that people decide they want a RV, and start looking at new ones, and at some point get their juices flowing. They savor the anticipation of all the fun the family will have, and.........you really don't believe that they're going to wait 40 years(forever) for the Japanese to start making what they want at the price they can pay do you? That's silly.
It happened to me on my sixth motorhome(my present one). I knew there would be issues,.....I just didn't know how bad it would be.
But, I do NOT believe it's the kind of vehicle in which the Japanese can apply their robot-manufacturing techniques. The numbers just don't add up for them. It's OK with me 'cause I've never bought a Japanese car or truck.
