Still there, all right- and so are the two almost-duplicates a few miles south. We locals call this pair "The Double Whammy".

:S - NYCgrrlExplorerGuess this means that snap back side view mirrors aren't as common as they seem to be on vehicles based in NYC.

- ValkyriebushExplorer IIYes passenger side while passing a truck going the same direction on a narrow bridge under construction. It had (Velvac) a cast iron shear bolt and snapped right off with out any damage to the arm and body, hung by the power cable until I could pull over. Never saw the truck again.
