Excursion overheats&leaks tranny fl towing going 50,uphill

I'm guessing the trans may have been so hot it was boiling and spewing out fluid. I wouldn't try that kind of towing if the trans did not have an external cooler. Just because the car had a 10,000 lb hitch doesn't mean it is equipped to pull that much. I with the guy that said you better solve the heating issue before you install and fry another trans.
