We had a fantastic fan installed in the vent over our bed and love it. I know this isn't really an exhaust fan directly over the stove but it is reverseable an will really pull a lot of air through any window or other vent that is open, pulling out odors heat, etc. Mainly we have it to use at night to blow air in to the bedroom or pull it through the bedroom window.
