We use one of the flat white ones for water hookup and fresh water fill on our trailer. However, we are rarely hooked up for long. Maybe a couple of days at a time. We always install the pressure regulator up-stream of the collapsible hose. Have never had any issues with it. It sure is nice not to have a bulky stiff hose to deal with.
