I always chuckle at the ones complaining about trees blocking the satellite tv signal or interfering with their 13' tall camper. My God!, trees in a campground? Unthinkable!
As an administrator of RVParkReviews I get to read a lot of submitted reviews as part of the process of approving them.
The ones I really find amusing are those that blame RV parks for things that are fundamental to their existence.
For example, a park in the Mojave Desert was given a low rating because it was "very brown and looked like it was in a desert!"
Another review, of a park in a small town in west TX off of I-10, was downgraded because "there isn't much to do around here."
I didn't make up either of these examples.
I can agree that parks can (and should) be given poor marks because of noisy neighbors or because the roads getting to them are narrow, winding or have too much traffic. But, really, downgrading a park because you couldn't find anything nearby to amuse yourself with. That's pretty harsh! JMO
Thanks for stopping by with the "CG looks like a desert story". You just can't make stuff like that up. Glad to hear upgrades coming to the site also.
