I wonder, did the CG have a disclaimer for that time period? Maybe they should.
We frequent a CG in Door County, WI that hosts a benefit for the local volunteer FD the weekend after Labor day. Live band till the wee hours, tiki bar, lots of fun. Lots of noise. They specifically tell people its a "relaxed quiet hours" weekend. No one is under any illusions that way.
