Totally agree; had one and used once and still had to pay for repair. Agee with comment regarding the cost. If they roll this $4000 into your total loan package, you will be paying more than that! You would be farther ahead if you placed $400/yr in a savings account and used it if necessary.
I've a 10 year old class C and have yet to need anything approaching that total. If you buy the unit in good mechanical shape and do normal maintenance you should not need an extended contract.
I rather you spend a little more upfront and have an independent mechanic look the unit over BEFORE you buy it.
