Extra Pantry Storage Space

We have a truck camper, so space is at a premium. We have one closet about 18 inches wide by 4 feet tall to hang clothes in, but since the clothes don't reach clear to the back, there was lots of wasted space there. Along the back wall, I built narrow shelves with a board across the front to hold canned goods and other small items. Six square feet of additional pantry space in a truck camper is great.

  • My 'C' has two narrow closets in the BR. but only two drawers about 3 inches deep. I built shelves in one of the closets with plastic containers on each shelf. T-shirts and jeans don't require hangars. :)
  • Well, I would rather hang any shirt than to fold them, the I was those pics of the shelves in the closer. I may have to rethink the folding and learn how...;)
  • Who brings clothes that have to hang for camping anyways? :? Extra storage spage for a pantry was a much bigger need for us. I used wire shelving to easily adjust the height as needed. Pic here
