F Y I Good to know

In April 2013 I bought a Magellan GPS and used it in 2013 and 2014. Well it quit and was beyond the year warranty from Magellan. So tough luck. I purchased this with my AMX card. I heard they extend your warranty another year if purchased with their card. I called AMX filed a claim and ten days later I got reimbursed for entire purchase. From now on I am buying everything I can with my AMX card. Contact me if you have any questions.

    I don't know whether they still do, but some Visa and MasterCard were doing the same thing. One of my MasterCard used to do that, but I never had the occasion to take advantage of it. I have no idea whether there are still any that have continued to offer this service. It always seemed like a pretty good deal.

    So AMEX provided the refund and not the manufacturer?
