The F250 will be a much better towing experience.
6 vs 10 speed...I don't think it's that big of an advantage. It's not like going from a 3 to 4 speed.
Yes, the ecoboost wins at low RPM torque but unless you plan to head out west and spend a lot of time in the mountains where the turbo will stop power loss due to thin air, it's not going to be a big impact. The 6.2 has plenty of power for the trailer you are looking at.
