One thing that hasn't been mentioned here... payload is less on a 4 wheel drive due to the additional running gear. If you're one of those who needs every pound of payload capacity, that's a reason in favor of 2 wheel.
One caveat on that... it's been a couple of years since I looked at that so verify for yourself if payload is a factor for you.
