I used a 2011 F150 ecoboost with tow package to tow my Attitude toyhauler. 30' overall with dry weight of 6800. Loaded 9000 +/-. WD set up with 1 sway friction bar. It did pretty good. Never had issues with straight line tow power. In windy conditions or when being passed by a semi, it was usually a white knuckle event.
I went with LT tires and that made a huge improvement in reducing my feeling that the trailer was pushing the tow vehicle around. Ultimately, I traded in on a RAM 2500. For me it is a much better, less stressful towing experience.
