- lanerdExplorer IIWell, WD-40 does have some lubricating qualities, but it definitely doesn't have any penetrating qualities. As Don said above, use a penetrating oil.
Hope this helps
Ron - dons2346ExplorerStand the bar so that the bars are vertical and then squirt PB Blaster down them and let then sit. Might take a few more applications.
If yo have used WD40 in the past on the bar, it is probably stuck. WD40 is not a lubricant. - dons2346ExplorerDouble post
- K_CharlesExplorerI would try penetrating oil. WD40 is to stop squeaks.
- MacManOneExplorerMy problem is the opposite, it's stuck retracted (likely from rust). I found a rebuild manual which helps me understand what's going on inside. Covers Falcon 2 and Blackhawk, I don't think it covers the All-Terain http://roadmasterinc.com/pdf/85-5011-03.pdf
- cochise49ExplorerFollowing.....my Falcon All-Terrain gets stuck when extended making it hard to disconnect on uneven ground.
