Max attaches to vrent frame
Constructively speaking, the mounts which are included with the shroud, fasten to the vent frame by removing a pre-existing screw, placing the mount (4) onto the frame and replacing the screw. The mounts have a vertical metal stud that the shroud fits over and then is secured by a pin clip, similar to a cotter key. You can easily remove the four pins, remove the shroud for cleaning. An optional replacement screen for the back of the vent will promote restricting bugs from entering into the shroud interior. I believe Camping World web site has an installation brochure which displays the pin mounts. The shroud is designed to allow a Fan-Tastic fan to completely open the lid. Camping World has them on sale frequently. This information is posted constructively and not as a criticism of the additional postings!
