Fantastic Fan With Remote
Can you tell me if you can control how far the vent opens with the remote?

Nope. In fact we had to replace our roof vent with a taller one to accommodate the fantastic. The company sells one for that purpose. It's a nice vent, not too expensive and they have a video on-line that makes installation very easy even for me and we love the fan. You also can't reverse the fan with the remote.
