Fed up with RV covers Wearing Out!

Hi,

I live in San Diego where the UV is very high.

I'm sick of my RV cover wearing out in less than 2 years. First it gets white patches that disintegrate into a fine horrible white dust and then it falls apart.

Can someone please recommend a cover that will stand up to a longer period of time in southern CA?

Also a good warranty that will allow me to change it if it starts to fall apart

Thanks!

Steve

Not trying to be snarky but it is the best, easiest solution.
X-3, only mine is a little bigger, 20x40, and closed on 3 sides.
  • Just a thought...full-timers are out in the elements all year long and many of them - even with older RVs - are able to keep their RVs in beautiful condition. It takes washing and good waxing but it can be done.
  • I use the Adco cover in WA. It lasted about 5 years as we don't have much wind here. It won't hold up in the winds in AZ, so I will be putting up a metal carport in a couple of months. If you get strong winds in your area, I wouldn't recommend a fabric cover.
  • Try a Sunshield tarp and hold it down with gallon bottles of something. We use boat fenders half filled with sand.
