I just bought a couple of Michelin tires at Costco this week and was reminded that they have a five year warranty that includes fixing flats, even changing a wheel on the road and towing if no spare is available. This is a Michelin warranty, included with the purchase from Costco. I paid $36 recently to have a tire fixed after it collected a small roofing staple. The place I took it to is not a Michelin dealer so I guess I can't claim a refund.
That seems a high price. Only tire shop in town and I don't buy tires there because they are much more expensive than Costco. I also had an argument with them after two of their tires failed in less than five years. The guy said nobody makes long life tires these days. I said Michelin did. The two michelins I replaced this week were 10 and 11 years old.
