I would like to provide an update. I emailed the dealer manager re the statement of "special needs folks" and received an email from the author who stated he uses the term in addressing a customer who is in need of a quick turn around. He stated his wife objects to the use of the term, however she has gotten used to it.
So, moving forward the jury is still out as to whether or not I made a pricey mistake. The trailer returns tomorrow.
