I hooked my trailer up the new truck the other day. Boy was a surprised. I really had to jack the trailer up high to hook up, but then it really settled nice down into the suspension. The new box floor height was ~5" higher. But once hooked up (with no changes) I was 1-2 degrees nose up. This was awesome, because I was empty to boot. I haven't hooked up with a full load yet, but I'm feeling really good about it. I've also got room to increase the height of my hitch if needed.
Lesson learned. Quit trying to figure it out!! Just hook up and go from there. I say lesson learned, but trying to figure this kind of stuff out is a weakness :-)
