What kind of vehicle are u driving, the interior of any of the vehicles I've owned for the last 40 years are plastic and fabrics which burn like gasoline once they're lit up. - RCMAN46ExplorerI have seen several car and RV fires. - rockhillmanorExplorer IIWell, at least with this RV fire we get to know the facts straight from the owners mouth. :(
"The fire started around 12:30 p.m., shortly after the Bakers pulled into Plum Grove campsite at Rock Cut State Park. They were lowering the leveling jack when Richard said he spotted flames through panels in the back of the vehicle.
“I had one fire extinguisher and other people brought their fire extinguishers and we tried putting it out, but it was useless,” Richard said.
While they were trying to fight the fire, Richard said they noticed hydraulic fluid leaking underneath the coach and burning.
“At that time we just said let’s get out of here and stay away from it and then it just started blazing terribly,” he said.
