Looking for input on a fire pit for a wood deck, not necessarly portable. Thanks

We go 2 ways on this one. We have a propane fire on the deck which works real well since the deck is covered on top. We can sit out even if raining or snowing and still have a nice experience. We also have a wood burning fireplace out on the patio at the rear of our yard. Both work great and weather is never a factor this way. We love our evening fires so and do so all year long.
