Thanks! Brings back memories of our first snowbird adventure many years ago when we got up at 3m Christmas morning to hit the road to south-Fl. Hit a real nasty rain storm and wipers were worthless (spares under my seat), got soaked and off we go. Got Paducah, Ky on a high bridge and noticed 18 wheelers weaving all over the road up ahead of us due to high winds, they then proceeded to all pull off into a Loves and were done for the night, we followed and spend Christmas night in the front parking lot with Christmas music and snacks. One thing we decided after many headaches and close calls is to avoid large city traffic at all costs. Will drive 200 miles out the way to do just that. Nothing good can come out of putting yourself in that kind of situation! Safe travels and enjoy your trip!!
