Hey I enjoyed reading that! You are quite good at wielding that pen which indeed is sharper than the sword! Well, common ground...? I am 67 and stuck in the Bend Oregon area and not happy about it! Came here as a full timer in my Lance TC in September of 2014 and family members who reside here had a lot to do with the gentle nudges that led me to take my camper off the truck (and sell it!! Uuuugh!!) and eventually to stay for a while and rent a house.. Wrong!!! I have made a lot of mistakes in my life but this one ranks right up there!!!! For many months now I have been planning my escape.. How to get another TC and head for warmer country.. In conclusion, my original plan was to get to Quarzsite for the big January RV show and dry camp mecca but never made it there. In January of 2017 I will be there!
I am making headway in my endeavor and getting very excited about it. Still have the solar system of my last rig propped up in the living room window. (used it twice now when power went out in viscous Oregon storms!!!) Perhaps we will see you in Quartzsite some time... America's Largest Parking Lot!
