Have recently read about uses and tried out the Mr Clean erasers. Many people indicate that they work wonderful for removing old left over glue/adhesive and goop. Just remember -do not scrub as they are abrasive and another tip given to me is just "mist" the sponge with water instead of dunking in water and wringing out as it will last much longer. Many people swear by them. Give it a try. You can buy them almost anywhere in the cleaning aisles including Dollar General.
